Process and Performance Video

Cecil, Maurisa, Meaghan, Christl, Afatasi and I, led by E Okobi, performed this Legislative Theater (Theater of the Oppressed) piece as a part of KQED's Night of Ideas: (un)Common Ground. Across two months, the group conducted community-based social science research and devised two plays based on the key themes: 1) AI in education, housing, and policing “Did you vote for the robot overlords?” and 2) San Francisco politics and gentrification “SF Democratic Party is Trash”. The performance includes journalistic media in visuals and videos, curated by the group, authored by E, and videos by Cecil.
